California Transparency in Supply Chains Act Disclosure

Top Hat Jerky (“Top Hat” or “Company”) is committed to conducting business in a lawful, ethical manner and ensuring fair labor practices within our supply chain. Pursuant to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010, we make the following disclosures:

  1. Verification

    • Top Hat Jerky does not tolerate the use of illegal, forced, abusive, or child labor in the making of our products.

    • While we do not currently engage in formal supply chain verification programs, we expect all of our suppliers to comply with local labor laws and ethical practices.

    • Any concerns reported to us will be promptly investigated and addressed.

  2. Audits

    • We do not currently conduct independent audits of our suppliers regarding human trafficking or slavery.

    • However, we reserve the right to conduct audits or request proof of compliance if concerns arise.

  3. Supplier Certification

    • We expect our suppliers to comply with all laws in the countries where they operate and to confirm that products provided to Top Hat Jerky are not made with forced, abusive, or child labor.

    • Non-compliance may result in the termination of our business relationship.

  4. Accountability Standards

    • All Top Hat Jerky employees and contractors are expected to uphold legal and ethical standards, including respect for human rights.

    • Concerns related to violations may be reported to management and will be investigated and resolved as appropriate.

  5. Training

    • We do not currently maintain a formal training program regarding human trafficking and slavery.

    • Employees involved in supply chain management are expected to follow Company standards, comply with applicable laws, and may face discipline, up to and including termination, for violations.
